Kwala is a yellow koala. She is best friends with Boowa.
She and Boowa live together with their families on a island called “The Land In The Middle”.
Story[]
Kwala was found missing by Boowa in “The Land of Pretty Seashells” (Reunion island in real life), as a small koala bear who couldn’t say anything else but “Kwala”, as Boowa was out looking for shells for his collection.
She then decided to take a journey with Boowa around the world to find her lost family and reunite with them.
As her journey continued, she learnt to speak and learn new words.
In the end, Boowa took Kwala to her home where she reunited with her family.
The relationship between Boowa and Kwala grows and grows like vines or trees as the series goes on and on.
Appearance[]
Kwala is a yellow koala with a round belly who stands about a head shorter than Boowa. Her ears are long and droop down and she has tufts of fur on her cheeks. Unlike the other female characters, Kwala is not depicted with eyelashes.
Kwala typically doesn't wear clothes, but she does normally wear a black beret, like the other members of the Koala family.
Relationships[]
In addition to being the best friend of Boowa, Kwala is the daughter of Mummy Koala and Daddy Koala and the granddaughter of Grandma Koala and Grandpa Koala.

Kwala is voiced by Veronique Barnard, one of the writers of the series.

- Kwala's birthday is on January 26th. The year she was born is unknown (possibly around the 80's or 90's).
- Despite Kwala being yellow, she hates lemons with a burning passion (probably due to the fact that they can be pretty sour).
- She often says "La" at the end of her sentences and for negative responses.
- Her voice actress and writer of the series, Veronique Barnard, is married to the voice actor/creator of Boowa, Jason Barnard, so it's possible for them to be a couple (probably when they get older and fall in love).
- She and Boowa can dance and sing (which is why they have so many songs on the playlists full of duets and all).
- She and Boowa love strawberries and food that has strawberry flavors.
- Her real name is unknown, though she goes by the name of Kwala.
